film on frames

 had a call to price a 1st clean,took a look,and straight away noticed that the protection film on the frames was going to be difficult to remove.owner told me he hadnt got round to taking it off,tried but was too slow.the windows are in 2 years. anyone have a solution to the problem?

I would use a scrapper. and a solvent based cleaner to take off any glue residue

I would explain to the customer that it is very time consuming so would charge £10 a window to remove it all. Also mention that it is something that he could probably do himself and save himself a package. Thats what I would do as it is a right pain to do, try and encourage the custie to do it himself.
