Anyone tried these :-

Are they any good as a cheaper alternative to other controllers?
Cheers for any tips,
Jon

They do work well mate, I have a pump box with one fitted, the one I have is only really affective from the three quarter throttle to maximum, the lower speeds are not fast enough for our purpose, if you turn it right down it stops the flow altogether.

No I have the smaller one, but I rigged it up to a backpack size pump and it will draw less than 7 amps. I posted about it on here a few weeks ago.

Hi Dai,
Just wondered whether maybe the 30a version would work well with a bigger pump (maybe 5lpm, 100 psi)
in a van mount, instead of the varistream, or am i penny pinching.

ps, I see your in Flintshire, I do quite a bit in Ewloe, Northop Hall area, if you know that well.
Cheers for the help BTW
