Wayne, when you first put the tuft in the water you need to rub the tuft in between your finger and thumb vigorously to expel any air and encourage it to absorb water.  Could well ahgve been wool/polyprop, lots of it about, acrylic sometimes in there too too.

Won't make any difference if it has protector on it, will still absorb water, just take a few seconds longer ;)

Hi Dave

Which method did you try?

Cheers

Doug

Thought I'd try the weakest solution first (fib fab).....did nothing. Sprayed with Bicarb.....hey presto.

Cheers
