It looks like a rated tradesman type site. A customer goes there and fills in the form saying they want an external clean and they match it to the locally registered tradesman. No doubt you, as the tadesman, have to pay a fee to get enquiries.

A quick search tells me it seems to be a US thing. Prob a waste of time and money.

Yes did a quick search and its yet another on line directory. I thought it might be a company sub contracting.

I phoned up the number and they have emailed what they are about and said the details of a few jobs will be sent out to me. It also says there is no subscription or registration fees. But I am guessing they will want paying for the customers details though, its probably a waste of time.

Yes your probably right, it's certainly not the customer paying to look for a tradesman, definately the other way round.

Yes I had an email about it a couple of weeks ago. It was through the Thompson Local Directory im listed in.
I didn't follow it up, but they give you details of job requests in the area locations you are interested in. But if you want the customer contact details you have to subscribe for a fee.
Not something im interested in.

I get emails from these all the time (they used to be called something else) How they work is they list the jobs they have and you then buy credits to get the contact details of the potential customer. Complete waste of time as I have been on there for at least 3 years and as yet havent seen a single job worth paying for the details of ??? The best bit with them is their description of windows (for a window cleaner) varies somewhat from my descripton as most of the windows jobs are for fitting windows. It wont cost you a penny to register but at the same time it is unlikely anything will come from their enquiries ( I have been waiting 3 years + for one to jump up and bite me ;D ) They do have some w/c jobs but they are usually along the lines of "I have a dirty window - I'll pay you £1 to come and clean it once - yet the enquiry costs more than that - In short a waste of time  ::) ::) ::) ::)

Oh and to add to that I usually get enquirys from basinstoke (that being the nearest when I live in Gloucestershire!) and further afield and usually they are window fitting rather than window cleaning. My advice would be avoid and save the £££
