The pen is mightier than the sword (and a lot easier to write with!)

yeah lost a load to. always worse when you go round to collect say 2 cleans worth and the family are there sorting out stuff. feel bad for taking the money but business is business.

Ive had some relatives ring up in the past and ask how much they owe me. Then promised to send me a cheque but never did!!

They prob just forgot in the aftermath of the death.  Why not go back and ask them, I expect they'd pay up.

one of my custies committed suicide a few years ago.lovely woman and i always got a brew.turned up on a sat morning and he was howling in despair when i went to clean the windows(she d taken an overdose the day before and died).so i quickly got back in the van and got out of there til next time.

a few months later i went back and there was blood all over the windows and half of them were smashed!i cleaned the ones i could and still billed him the full amount.apparently he had a mistress whos boyfriend didnt like the idea of her seeing other men!!and he went round drunk and smashed half his windows in! :o :o

he got his house up for sale now!! ::)

custy eh?

We lost one today because she's getting very frail and the nieces have taken over the finances and stopped us. Know it's against her wishes as well because she told us she couldn't stand them and they were only after her money! Probably trying to conserve the funds for when the poor old thing dies
