Winter essentials for your van
« on: September 09, 2010, 08:08:10 am »
With winter just around the corner and most of us being off for long periods last winter I thought it would be a good idea to start a post like this and ask everyone else what they do/use to stop pipes freezing etc. We should be getting better at these kinds of things as the years go on.
So serious comments only please.

ditto.

fill up the night before - keep van warm with heater - good to go in the morning,  only stopped last year when water was freezing to glass ( approx 4 days in total )

Last winter I put a thick blanket over my tank and put hose reel and poles in my shed overnight plus had a fan heater in there for 3 hours before I started.
