Had my next years insurance proposal through the other day,with More than,£816, That`s with 10 yrs Ncd,in a nice area,recovery ,only £500 for tools. Had gone up by over £200 !!

Called Alexander swan today,fully comp protected ncd,6 grands worth of cover on machine and tools ,left in van overnight,full on recover and replacement if mine is smashed...£590.Very happy with that

Apparantly some insurance companies do not want certain type of business so they up the price, if they get it at the inflated price they are winners.

Bit like us really,dont want a job - put a high quote in, if we get it then we are quids in. Same thing really.

Just called me back,machine cover was slightly more than she said,it`s now £640,but that covers everything in the back,anywhere in the uk,even if left overnight.And it`s also covered when it`s in my house in winter,so still good,better cover for a better price
