Low pressure, long hose
« on: August 25, 2010, 05:16:22 pm »
One of my machines when switched on shows a pressure of around 110psi which is as I'd expect.

However, if I connect up a long hose, this pressure drops to around 80psi. This is without a tool on the end.

Is this normal? If so, why does the pressure drop at the machine end.

If it's nor normal is it s sign of impending pump failure?
