WARNING - HM Revenue & Customs Fraudulent e-mail
« on: August 05, 2010, 10:09:36 pm »
I Got this email from my account so thought I should pass it on. Mods, can you lock this please?......................

We have recently been forwarded this e-mail from one of our clients. The e-mail is
supposedly from H M Revenue & Customs asking you to click on a link to claim your
refund. What is worrying about this e-mail is that the amount in the e-mail is
almost exactly what the client was due to be refunded.

Please do not respond to this e-mail or click on the link - it is a fraudulent
e-mail. Please be aware that HM Revenue & Customs will not contact you by e-mail in
respect of tax refunds.

If you receive anything by e-mail that you are not sure about, please do not
hesitate to contact your account manager at Morgan Harris.
