Yawwwwwn

Just kidding. Modern cricket is a totally different game from the past.

Fully agree with Doug's comments about modern footballers.

There is something seriously wrong with their training, when you compare the fitness levels of boxers, or tennis players.

The latter can be on court for an incredible 5 hours of explosive energy.

Anyone who has ever sparred for just three minutes will appreciate what I'm saying  [ Kung F u in my case ]

Well done England's cricketers........hope that the lousy footballers were watching. If they were then they will certainly have learnt something. Like how to give 100% effort, how to give value for money and not cheat the public.

JWT,

I've played both in the past and always found cricketers had lots more 'bottle ' than footballers.

In football you can hide , in cricket you can't.

Cheers,

Doug

I disagree Fibre reviver, I did a carpet last week where because of the excitement generated by the cricket he knocked a full cup of tea over. and everyone is so happy who follows England.

Well done England!!!!!!!!!!
