Hi guys,

Would appreciate a 'heads up' on membership of the Federation of Small Businesses.

Money well spent, or a waste of hard earned.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Simon.

Well spent.
As with anything if you use all the benefits and offers you'll be laughing.
I've used their legal helpline a few times which is worth the small cost of membership, and having the knowledge that if there's a tax inspection they send someone around pronto to make sure those people are out of your hair as fast as possible.

We were members for a few years and used a few member offers.

Legal helpline - useless in our experience.

We didn't make best use of our membership - I suspect if you are prepared to go to events you can get some networking going.  Having said that, the few events we were interested in were booked up so we never got to go.

Bottom line - no longer members.

I have been a member for about 17 years and used the legal help a couple of times which has been invaluable.
You get lots of info that helps small businesses keep up with legislation as ignorance is no excuse.
