Illness cover
« on: July 11, 2010, 09:59:28 am »
Hello folks

After reading the post regarding the snapped Achilles tendon, thinking might make sense to get some kind of cover for any unforeseen illness/ broken bones!

Can anybody recommend a company whom has been as efficient paying out as they were collecting the premiums?

Mr B
If in doubt.....Leave it out !!

Hi Brian

Ive got cover with Combined Insurance of America and have never had a problem with them paying out. If I recall you don't get anything for the first 4 days. I have 2 sickness polices and 1 hospitalization policy and they payed out on all 3 when I had my op for a torn cartilage in my knee a couple of years ago. They also do a policy for accidents.

I'm with CICA as well.
Dislocated shoulder about 13 years ago.
First monthly cheque hit the doorstep as
soon as it was due and all the others were
bang on time and for the right amount.
Can't fault them.
