Conservatory charging ?
« on: July 06, 2010, 04:49:04 pm »
what's a reasonable price to charge to clean a conservatory bearing in mind Iv'e already cleaned the house windows seperately, a lot of factors I'd guess depending on number of windows and size, would it be best to give the customer and all in price or would that put them off ?

If you do the conny sides when you do the house windows then price accordingly. If you only do the conny and its roof every year or so then allow for the fact it will be minging.
It's a game of three halves!

went round toa five bed house and conny for an estimate, gave the price and was told by the indian lady that my price was to high and the previous guy did conny and windows for £40.
Considering they are all leadlights and the conny is filthy i told her i would not reduce price.
So  dont get sucked in by these people they just try it on.

ive seen flyers saying conny roofs from £40

I normally charge about 2-3 quid per roof pane and Im starting nto realise that isnt enough, the amound of water it take to get it right is ridiculouse especially if the roof has a slight drop.

The cons windows i normally charge about a pound every 2 panes. depending.
