I'm just back from a very, very busy weekend (Fri,Sat, Sun) doing the cleaning for a large wedding marquee set up.
We were in on friday cleaning the place after it had been built and before the tables and flowers were set up. Then on saturday morning/afternoon we basically cleaned it all again prior to the main event and guests arriving.
I also had people in from 3pm yesterday till 3am this morning basically on standby ready for any spillages etc and ensuring that both the guest toilets as well as the staff toilets and welfare facilities were kept clean and tidy.
Today we've been back in clearing up from last night and getting the place ready for an afternoon barbeque for the families and closest friends.
It's been a very interesting few days, learnt a lot of new things and most importantly picked up some very good contacts and showed these people what we are capable of doing. Hopefully more work will come off the back of it.
Oh, and we also made a few quid out of it as well!!
