« on: July 03, 2010, 06:16:24 pm »
Had an enquiry for carpets but in her lounge diner she has Ikea wood laminte that she says she wants cleaned, re-sealed and polished.
Not seen it yet but can you seal laminate ???

Thanks Paul

Laminate flooring is normally made from a nonporous polymer - so there is nothing for a new seal to adhere to

I used to work for a guy that had a contract with a chain of shops that were having laminate flooring fitted into most of its nationwide chain of shops.  They asked if we could apply anything to the laminate to give it more durability and longer life.  We tried and tested metalised polishes with great results.  I was quite surprised that the polish took to the laminate but it did and it kept it looking good.
