Its a chamios cut into small strips like a mop head they were the bees knees at one time.

Hello from Me,

One thing I wanted to ask was if anybody uses a rat tails mop? when we used to clean leaded windows and small panes etc we would clean the glass with the rat tails mop and then go over the dampness with a scrim until dry,

Ya I used to but micro fibre and small blades now (when not using WFP)

welcome to clean it up, im from bulwell quiet little village down the road from you lol. i have got an old rag tail mop in the shed but i never use it. it's micro-fibre scrim squeegy and wfp these days. window cleaning has moved on a long way and you will learn a lot off this forum, best of luck.
