Hi Mike,

You might be best asking this in the carpet cleaners section.

We perform carpet cleaning for commercial offices and EOTS. We have had the cheap Rhino, We have had a SteamPro, and a speedster. I have used a Scorpion a few times.

We have just purchased a Airflex turbo 600psi I cannot recomend the machine enough. Drying times are fantastic, we also did a sofa the other day and the drying times compared to the above machines is spectacular.

The design is great to and can be truckmounted and you can add water tanks without the need for a seperate pump.

Best try before you buy. http://www.cleansmartsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/Airflex_Turbo.html

As for removing plaster, stipping floors you require a rotary buffing machine and good chemicals and a wet vac.

You need a good strong machine for pubs as they are usually filthy and need to be dry quick  ;)

Hi Mike

We've got a Steempro Powermax - we're a new start up and its our first machine. Its a great little machine, excellent for our current work rate and requirement, its used mainly for domestic work. We use two 25 ft lengths of hose off it so max. 50 ft reach from entrance door, though of course we can take it inside the house if we must. I've had a few jobs bigger than usual where I needed something with more punch especially extraction/lift with pump pressure. For hot water we use the heat n' run inline attachment. If your budget allows look around and try a few. I'd go for something more powerful for your line of business.

For a rotary machine, the Victor Multispeed Industrial is top quality. It's got three speeds suitable for scrubbing/ scouring, burnishing and polishing
