yes. simple as that unless it takes lots of time removing items of the sills, but most people move everything out of the way

I would only charge double if its a regular inside clean, if a one-off it would be double what the outside is

When you say charge double I presume you mean £10 outside + £20 inside = £30.
If so then yes. If you mean outside + inside = double outside £20 then no too cheap.

I sometimes offer a special of 1.5 x outside cost, so the above example would be £25.

I always add on a little extra to clean insides... For example if I cleaned a £30 (outside price) house inside I would charge £40 for the insides, plus the £30 for outside.

I always ask them to clear window sills before I get there.

I usually charge 1.5 for inside.

i.e £10 outside then £15 inside.

I have a few that i charged the same for in/out but this was when i first started, i wish i had charged more :(

been doing em so long now i feel akward putting price up 50% for inside.

It's 2 custy's who have inside done about twice a year.

I keep thinkinking of offering inside cleans on bad weather days only :-\

no, if i did do reg inside i may adjust price.

but i think 1.5 times for inside is good, don't get involved with secondary glazing or if you do price high.

in the past i have had in/out custy's every time but they end u being a pain.
They wanta bespoke service but don't want to pay any extra.

And they always seem to have beige carpets (stay away from the beige carpet brigade :D)

i refuse inside work on domestics as its too much hassle unless they pay double the outside price.most dont want it done when i say itll be double the outsides!! :D :D

never liked doing inside work.ive usually got plenty of outside work to be cracking on with!also in theory you could get accused of stealing something(it happens!)if your inside someones house.

Do you clean the insides every month?

I have a few regular in/out customers. They pay for the privilege.

I have been canvassing (market researching) to see if there is enough work available - so as well as cleaning windows with WFP, I have been asking about conny cleans, gutter cleans, inside outs etc.

Its just inside outs appear to be quite popular (i dont think my competitors have offered this)- I think I have a better chance of securing a regular 4 weekly clean if I also offer a quarterly inside clean also.

I have quoted double the price and not had any rejections - but obviously insides will be tard cleaning not WFP - so I am thinking I should charge slightly more.

I am out again on friday - so if I get a chance/opportunity I will try 1.5 times the price of the outside. I am not looking to rip off customers, but to get a fair price. I will let you know how I get on.

And again, thanks for your honest answers

I think charging 1.5 for insides is about right and thats what i charge. If there is one you really dont fancy doing quote double or more for it.
