I got mine yesterday and very pleased with it. I am used to the X-tel poles so really notice how light it is and although it is nice and rigid there is still a little flex which is great for doing tops of frames (when you brush from left to right). The bottom sections circumference is notabaly smaller but already I have got used to it.
Now that is the positive parts.. Now for the negative and concerns......
Firstly, It is advertised as a 18' pole but it is EXACTLY the same size as the X-tel 17' :
. I was abit disapointed at that as the 18' lenght appealed to me as I had a 18' in the past and it allows me to just barely reach some of my 2nd floor windows.
Secondly, which is just a concern but the clamps are different to the 'fantastic' clamps that have never let me down on the X-tel. Like I said it is just a concern and not a 'negative' as they may be even better!
Thirdly, Which is also just a concern... The pole sections are ribbed so whne the poles are being collapsed it makes a 'shuddering' noise. The noise as such is not a problem but it makes me think that the sections are slowly being shaved. There are adjusters on the clamps so they can easily be tightened though!
But on the whole I am delighted with the pole. Great value for money.
Also bought a supermax 40' and so far over the moon with it. Will post a review soon once I've had a proper try with it.
