IBC Tanks
« on: May 11, 2010, 01:06:20 am »
I'm in the process of buying and installing a 600 litre IBC in the van. They sell them on a plastic or a metal pallet. Which would be best? Plastic ones are a lot cheaper, but I need to make sure it is safe while in transit. Any thoughts would be welcome.

I dont think it will be that safe. You need to install it properly.

I weould say the plastic as the metal one can rust.

if your putting in an ibc tank (which I would not reccomend I would be baffling the tank or your water will be sloshing around and could well be dangerous when cornering.

Why do you not buy a 650L baffled tank they are cheap enough, look in buy and sell section.
