« on: August 17, 2005, 09:51:52 pm »
HELP , I want to know please, what this system delivers in terms of litres per day , i mean the ammount of water it delivers for use ?
I also would like to know what the wasted water is in litres ?
And what the tds of water produced is ?

My tds is 100 , so if anybody can give any results i can get a rough idea from it would be spot on .

I am currently gonna be spending about £100 per month on resin , based on 300L used per day !

 HELP PLEASE !

A 100gal per day R/o will produce 500ltrs in 24 hours this is at a presure of 70psi.

However is your psi is more it will produce more if psi is below 70psi you will get less.

Hi P@F

My short experience with an a RO-Man system.

I only use a 50 GPD Ro-man unit. I Have pretty good water pressure and an initial TDS of 60. Before polising I get a reading of about 3. As it is only 50 GPD it takes about 4 hours to produce 25 litres. The unit is fitted with a flow restrictor of 5:1 so 25 litres wastes another 125litres. I am changing this to a 3:1 myself as the initial TDS is so low (if anyone knows how to get a 1:1 ratio would be grateful). I can usually produve enough for what i need at present with this sall unit.

I do also carry a DI bottle to produce on site should I run out however

Hope tsome of this information is of use to you

Regards Lee
