pricing window buisness

hi all just wondering if i could pick your brains to help me with a problem a guys father i know has a window buisness with an income of 1600 per month all houses which hes selling and i was wanting to make an offer problem is i dont know the going rate to do this any help would be very welcome thanks djm belfast

Just started myself and brought a good established round for £6000 and it was £3100, it was established for about 4 years, longer it's been going the more they seem to want. Make sure you go out with the guy and meet people, possibly when he's collecting so you can see the work and the amount paid and you know the location of all the work.

When I started I leaflet dropped them and informed the customers I was taking over from the last guy and if they had any concerns or questions to call. This prevented me losing customers.

between 2+4 times monthly take is quite the norm for a well priced compact customer list .

Twice the value of the round, ideally paid in installments, with a condition build in that you will not pay for any work that is lost due to him retiring.

You may get it for a lot cheaper, ask him what he is after for it.

i have been offered 4 times mine
i wont sell for twice myself.any way not selling now .
