below is a quick example of how we give quotes for commercial sites and would like some advice on how to improve.
first page with our business details, and then a paragraph saying thank you...this is who we are and what we do which makes us a great choice etc...
then we say what we expect to do daily, weekly, monthly in a bullet point list.
then how much it'll be for this, though i think this is the biggest part that needs improvement as all we do is how long cleaner(s) will clean for, how often, then cost per hour and cost per week. this part feels the least professional.
then we say a final thanks,
next page is copy of liabilty certificate,
next page copy of terms and conditions. i feel this also could do with work as at the moment we stuck our standard contract, which we have sometimes changed for the client, e.g. one school we work on a term to term basis so if they want to get rid of us they have one term notice, and i don't want to put a possible contract because customer wants a slightly more secure contract for them etc.
and then that's it.
we deliver in hand if it's important enough (thanks diana for the tip), which we try to deliver in an a4 envelope with the person's name we dealt on it.
any ideas on how to improve? are we doing anything wrong? good?
