Hi Graham - is it all supermarkets that you dislike or just Morrison's and Tesco's? ;D
It's a game of three halves!

Harrods = charge loads more
Fortnum and Masons = charge even more again
WFP Battery = Charge overnight
The Light Brigade = Charge into the valley of death.
It's a game of three halves!

(I've fell out with my Missis and I've got the 'huffy bed' (sofa) - but never mind, it's close to the computer!).

Anyway, I think Graham is metaphorically intimating that 'Morrison's' shopping bags indicates that the householder is 'on a budget', therefore stuggles to pay their window cleaner a decent price.

However, I've recently had two 'run ins' with householders who drive large 4x4 vehicles (Shoguns I think they were), and both had fairly posh houses.

Avoid customers who drive black Shoguns!  They're tighter than a mosquito's back passage!

Tosh's comments about the Shoguns are true. I read somewhere in one of the motor trade mags that poser cars are the most likely to end up getting repossesed because the owners are trying to be something they are not.

None of them are ever paid for, they're all finance.
These people in big houses in new estates do everything on credit, they haven't really got as much money as us lot! 8)

Oh, and people get Shoguns and the like because they can't afford a Range Rover.
That's what they'd all like really.

Roger.
