friendly wc

doing a fas,gutter clean 2day in a cul de sac window cleaner turns up todo a few houses across from were i was working i said r u doing these window today m8 he says no m8 another wc does those i said no probs.off he goes does 2 houses and comes bk to me and says u got sum cards m8 as i dont clean any gut,fas and loads of my custy want them doing so i can hand them your card i say yes  m8 giv him a few cards and off he goes.had 2 calls already  :D :D

cant fault friendly window cleaners allways helps to say hello

That's the kind of windys you want... I've been warned today about a 'window cleaning mafia' in my new area.. I'll ask them if they will do the same when I run into them next ;D

We're all fairly friendly round the Chepstow area.  It's the best way to be.

we all the same in my area tosh,we even go out for xmas dinner all together ;D ;D ;D ;D
also enjoy a drink or 2 with each other on weekends ;)

About a quarter of my turnover is because I have maintained good relationships with other w/cleaners.  Some of it subbying.  Some of it people just passing on my name because they only do ladder work and some of it can only be safely done with WFP.  I know there is a lot of trad bashing on here at times (though most of it in good humour) but some of my best jobs have come via trad W/Cs.

what do i want to upset the apple cart as he doesnt do gutter etc i could get a lot off jobs from this wc

Yes, I was even friendly when I lost that account because you bought and moved into the house I used to clean!  You could've ruddy well bought another house somewhere else!!! >:( ;D

Wezzy, What are you going to do if you tip up at one of his custies to do gutters, and they ask you to quote them for windows?
