what a nightmare !!
« on: April 10, 2010, 09:13:12 am »
as you might have read, I have been without a van for a while.

Anyway, I picked up a one off clean to be done yesterday. I borrowed my bro-in-law's van as he's a window cleaner too.

problem was I'd cleaned the inside of the school earlier using a friend's car to get over there and left my bucket in his boot !!

In luck, my bro-in-law had left his bucket in the van, so smiling away off I went.

When I got there I found he had 2 squeegees . . a 6" and an 18" !!!

well, the 18" was no good at all so . . .

. . . I had to do the whole one off clean with the 6" !!!!!!!!!!

they were in too . . must have wondered why I had such a small squeegee !!  ;D

still, at least there wasn't patio doors round the back !!!

Moral of the storey . . . Don't window clean on a friday !!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

yeah, 18" was too big expecially for the small opening windows at top !!

oh well, it's in the past now !! ;D

damn, didn't think of that !! ha ha

new van is great apart from the fault which I mentioned in my other post.

I'm just having a break from taking off the sign writing !!

it really flies along, although I've not got any equipment in yet. Really nice to drive. Once the fault is sorted I'm gonna really enjoy having it !!
