how to secure vacuum seals?

What type of glue should I use to fasten a vacuum foam seal to machine as part of mine has torn away, so need to put a new one on???

Someone must have done this job before, i got a spare seal but no adhesive, will ask them on monday but will not get mondays jobs done, thought somene should know. :-[

Do you mean the seal that fits between the waste tank and it's lid? If it is I've used evostick it the past and it's worked really well.

Hi Dave,

You would undoubtedly get a better bond with a solvent , probably toluene based adhesive.

I believe Evostick is such a beast so would concur with John.

I have just replaced my waste tank seal on my Alltec Professional Plus. The original had been stuck on with silicone sealant so I did the same!! fast, easy and clean - just like me ;D

use any woodworkig glue solves the problem. dont knoe wky but works. I KNOW SO DONT TAKE CKANCES be suspicious of others
