Looks like the pretend charity calls are going around again,soon put the phone down when you ask for their registered charity number !!

We used to get 10 a week ringing, diary for police or nurses, school books or they would ring up and say it was booked last year, where do you want us to send them etc.
Constant North West of England accent, phone number came from Burnley area, told them various answers, nothing worked till told them as  a Newcastle Unite fan, and we dont buy anything from Mancunions.
They never know what to say, and it works for us

And if you trace the phone number and google it, pages of complaints and scams, being going on for 20 years, business rate rebate scam, business grant scam etc and the above.

Yeah ,how come they get away with it ?
I got caught out the first year i was running,went to the local school too see if their books had turned up,no sorry,we have no idea what your talking about !! 

They won`t catch me again,i tend to just cut calls off that are unknown or withheld numbers,or just put the phone next too my machine if i am working
