r.o noise

i have a 300gpd ro from purefreedom and i was wondering if its normal to make a buzzing sound. its louder in the kitchen than it is outside near the tap. my mate has the same ro and there is no noise coming from his at his house.

Have you recently put new filters in?

I have a merlin RO and it takes 2 - 3 days to get all the air out then the hissing noise stops.

its 2months old and has always made a noise. it performs well, got no problem with that

Is it not air lock in the plumbing or does the RO buzz.
