No SUCKING going on ....
« on: February 21, 2010, 07:17:59 pm »
 ;D

With my pressure waser !

Used it friday for a job, and I couldn't get it to suck soap through to spray !

It's always worked before.

Black nozzle - soap away, swap to turbo clean away.

Didn't need the soap, cleaned just the same - but all the soap looks good.

Only difference in my set up is that I now use just one long lenth of hose instead of several smaller ones  -  is this the reason for the lack of sucking ??????  >:( ;D

It'll be a blockage or partial blockage in either the suction line or in the low pressure nozzle, try it without a nozzle in which will give you flow with virtually no pressure and if it still won't suck then the blockage will be in the suction line or the valve. Thereaten divorce if things don't improve ::)

i had a problem with "no sucking" a while ago.  it seems like the same for everyone. once you have had them for a while they are just not interested in sucking anymore.
good job my pressure washer is not like that  :)

Ha ha ! :D

Checked the soap hose, can't see any obvious blockage or damage.

What's the tap beside it for ?
By where you connect teh hose to the P W  ???

I've always just left it fully done up tight.

are you talking about the unloader valve dan or the outlet tap? if its the outlet tap it allows you to open it to let the air out thewater when you start the machine up while the lance remains on the high pressure hose. soon as the air has gone out of suction pipe shut off the tap then you have the pressure to your gun.  :)

Use that tap you talked bout today.
OUTLET tap. saves having to put the PW on a nd off all the time ! Used to switch machine off, change lance then struggle to re-start machine ! Hence 3 snapped starter cords in last year !!

See you learn something new everyday !
