NUMATIC NMD1000S
« on: February 24, 2010, 10:01:51 pm »
Last week i was given a numatic nmd1000s the machine was cutting out all the time i have traced the problem back to the moulded plug and cut it off now fine.

My question is could i use this for bonnet cleaning the rpm is 150
if so best place for drive plate and 15" pads please
the machine is quiet heavy at a guess around 25kg

your thoughts please.

My question is could i use this for bonnet cleaning the rpm is 150 --------   yes
if so best place for drive plate and 15" pads please ------   any numatic supplier or ebay
the machine is quiet heavy at a guess around 25kg  ------probably one of the lighter machines

i have the 17" version and a truvox 450, the truvox is prob 50% heavier, and find it does a better job than the numatic, but thats my choice. Nilfisk are also a good make.

Numatic are likely to be at Carpex so you might grab a bargain plate and weight if you can wait :)

Just got the manual online its 32kg so it has put on 7kg since my last post ;D ;D

Will i still need the weight, cant see it getting any heavier after this post ;D

what a result customer said she bought it about 4 years ago used it a dozen times to clean the stone flooring in the kitchen, said it was to heavy to handle triped on the lead most likley the cause of the faulty plug its only taking up space in the garage would you like it.
got a toasted cheese & ham sarnie cup of tea £85 for cleaning the carpet gave me £100 keep the change love. mind you nice house new forest hampshire ponys at the gate x5 bmw on the drive.
did leave a free bottle of spotter all heart ya see. :P
