I know it's been discussed before, but what do you do in this heat to get leaded windows shining?  Did one yesterday, usually takes me about 1 hour on a dull day, yesterday took 2 hours

I use chamois in GG3 to wet and unger microwipe to buff but in this heat the wet cloth needs more water in it

Ettore squegee off diluted in a spray and a clean microfibre.

Ian_Giles gave me this tip which I use:

Get a spray bottle filled with diluted car windscreen wash.

Lightly mist the window and buff-up with a large microfibre or dry scrim.

It works really well.

GO WATERFED POLE COMES UP LIKE NEW ,just been given a squid tip by old women whos got leaded windows,parting comment was Ive never seen them shine so well since they were fitted in the early 60s,mind you dont think the windows had been cleaned since the 60s.

Whilst cleaning them a neighbour came out and asked me to clean two large houses down the rd ,stating if you can do that to leaded windows you must have a buffer machine?

Mr muscle spray then scrim/microfibre to polish.

Mr Muscle window cleaner is very good, or for that matter a own brand version is just as good.
We always dilute it though, to make it go further.

I use the dishwasher rinse aid mixture on a microfibre pad [made for cleaning cars i think}. Only cost a quid.  finish with a damp clean scrim, perfect every time

I find normal water, with what ever in it...fairy gg3, Then I go over it with a huck then buff with a scrim comes up lovely....doesn't take long either...not sure about the old lead windows though.
