Hi Derek,
I have seen many different colours & designs of Altro flooring but i have never seen any like that. The after pic looks fine to me,  no dirt left on the flooring as far as i cab see.  How big is the floor area that needs cleaning?  where is the floor situated? What is STS?  I did some really dirty Altro flooring with loads of build up on it.  Tried loads of different chemicals with poor results.  Ended up trying One Step DYNAX and got the result i needed.

What is the enviroment where this floor is?

Havent seen Altro looking like that! Is it not sheet vinyalay or similar?

What dilution did you use the STS at?
I did a tiled floor on Wednesday with STS at 1:10 in part and 1:20 the majority - owners comment "its come up like new".

Derek are you sure you posted the right photos ???

Firstly that isn't like any altro I've seen before, secondly top pic dirty bottom pic clean ???

It looks like vinyl tile, i.e. amtico or karndean.... but more like cheaper copies of it, the B&Q equivalent for example.

more info needed!

looks like the "flakes" might be little potholes in the surface of the material... dirt collects in these and goes black.

If you do need further chemical power, do a little test with Ultrapac renovate see what happens...

Ahhh that makes a bit more sense, didn't know altro do a wood effect now.  Does look very much like it, but can't see any metal flakes in it ???

Seldon Institute sell a solvent based cleaner called Strong Arm and it works very well, I used some on a WMC on their standard Altro floor infront of the bar and it stripped the pitted black easily with a black pad.
