You'll knacker the glide on an altro floor Derek, it'll be just like taking sandpaper to it....you really do need a proper hard floor wand for it.

OK mate :)  Take before/after photos - of the glide!  I did about 35m of altro with mine and it ate half of the glide :o

Also, after using it on altro it'll have some of the little metal bits off the floor stuck in it... watch out if you then went and used it on a nice floor like amtico or something, cos it'll scratch the surface!  You can dig most of the bits out with a stanley blade though, and even finely sand the glide a bit to smooth it off.

i'll just use the RX, promise.

been to look at it today, lots of spotty black dots with those alloy silver flakes in it, i'm guessing its the altro you guys were telling me about. she now wants the whole building doing, gonna be 3 to 4 nights work at £400 a night. that'll dink dank do for me.
cheers clinton, thats another pint i owe ya.

Your choice mate, just giving you the info to work with 8)

For that money it's well worth the spend on a hard floor wand, should be able to get one for a few hundred squids and it'll be a lot better anyway.  When you're doing that much work... blah blah I know you know :)

You know what you've given me an idea, I'll start a new organisation!  seams to be the in thing nowadays :D  NSPGG, got a good ring to it :P

well i for one think its a fantastic idea jim, assuming the initials NSPGG are for the prevention of any male using a glide, count me in. i'm guessing £200 joining fee plus £35 training course in how and why you should not use a glide.

personally i think they should be sold with a government gay warning and a free bra and knickers with every purchase.

the NSPGG
"where men have bad backs like there supposed to have"

right i'm off to abuse a glide
laterzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

We now buy ours from Restormate, if you order 100 you get them for £1.89 a bottle and I think there is an offer on if you order 100+, they will also do a label with your logo on for free which makes it very personal and is free advertising.

Give Lynn a call as I know she loves the job of bottling them up and sticking labels on, so she will be only too pleased to take your order!
