I was in it for 3 years, I only had 1 job that insisted I was Safe Contractor accredited.
It does look good on your quote though to say you are Safe Contractor Accredited .
I did not get anymore work because of it .
But not many of my commercial customers had heard of them

Been with them for a number of years, the paper work you have to send to get accredited is a nightmare and seems to be gettin worse each year its basically the same health & safety questions just worded differently over and over again, we have a few large commercial jobs that insist on it but if it wasnt for them i would not bother as it doesnt really gain us that much work, but it is good to send off in the quotation pack looks good etc.

What do you have to do to be a safe contractor and how much does it cost ?
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

beware if you get one of there delightful little stickers to go on your van too! had my valleter remove the sticker at the weekend ready for a mop and polish for new livery and it took the bl00dy paint off. dont know if they use the same ones now, these had been on a few years
