Had a lady shout across the street to me in Stafford on Thursday.

Seems her daughter lives down the road opposite where I was, and can't find a W/Cleaner.

Went to look, and it's only a small terrace, with a service road alongside, so  to walk around the back is dead easy.

It's really only worth about six quid to me, and I could knock it of in 25 mins.

Then I thought, "I don't come down here, it's a special journey", so I said "Once a month, eight quid".

She told her daughter, I got the job and that evening, 'cos neighbours talk, two others rang up from the same row, and booked me!

If I'd mde it 6 quid, I wouldn't have lost, but I wouldn't have gained as much either, <grin>, so remember that when you price work up!

We've all fallen into the same trap, [yes! even the well experienced lads on this forum, they will all admit it, learn from them!]
