I have signed the petition.  In a democratic society all people have the right to voice their opinions.  That includes the Islam4UK group.  A lot of people say that if we suppress their right to march we are in fact going against our own democratic philosophy.  But truely, because it is a democratic society we have the right to also say that we feel they are taking things to far and they are planning a march in a place that would upset and cause grief to people in a manner that is beyond free speech.  Basically Islam4UK, by staging the march here are intentionally disgracing our heroes, past and present.  This intention brings the place of the march to the fore front instead of the intent of the march.  I have served in Iraq in both wars in 91 and 04.  I in no way agree with message Islam4UK is trying to communicate, although I believe they have the right to communicate their message, but when they plan to demonstrate in a way that would cause undue hardship and misgiving, and the intent of the demonstration is that hardship and misgiving, not the message they are trying to convey THEN I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, THAT IS MY RIGHT OF FREE SPEECH.

If there message is not about Islam, or Afghanastan, and thier message is to disgrace the fallen, Then we have issues.  I am sure that there are plenty of people that would be willing to talk in private about any issues they have with our heroes that can not represent themselves.

Nuff Said

i think if they let such a march go ahead , then every shop should close. everyone leave the town for the day and no reporters go within 20 miles of the place. whatever goes on then would just be pointless to them.
