I'm looking for ideas for a support pole when using a guttervac at approx. 45ft. The one on Omnipole is £260!!

Hybrid pole at polarbrite is the one I am using tomorrow, I'll be using it at about 30-35ft.

Yes I did, I have picked up a lot of gutter cleans with the flyers too.

You don't need a support pole as we regularly use them at this height.

Really   How can one person hold a pole up to reach 40-45ft and be safe. Surely if you lost control, it could cause all sorts of damage.

I was using my gutter vac at 30ft today, I am sure if you have a long enough pole you wouldn't need a support pole.

Matt..The omnipole guttervac pole at 45ft needs some support, believe me. A slight gust of wind when manouvering it would put it out of control. It's not like using a wfp at the same height.

For the price they charge for the vac and it needs support.

Yeh, the poles are 50mm alloy in 6ft sections. Thats why I'm saying about the hazard at 45ft. If you lose control and it hits someone on the head, i think they would wake up with more than just a headache

we travaled up to have a look at the omni system and it was the pole that was the thing that put me off as it was so heavy
I could'nt lift six sections on my own , so contoling it in a slight wind would be a nightmare

If You have a powerpole for the camera you will only need the top section (About £80 ish i think)

Hi Steve, How do you attach the power pole to the guttervac pole?

Its a clamp that they attach to the the top section.
All you do is take the top section out and slide the new section in.
