Heard about this?
« on: November 04, 2010, 05:53:03 pm »
From the Sunday Times: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/environment/article6998648.ece

"Nathan Colwell, is a second-generation window-cleaner. Two years ago, appalled by water waste in his trade, he switched to rainwater collected from a local garden centre and developed a zero-waste purification system. Now, instead of using up to 40 litres per job, his firm, NCPM247 (0844 549 9247, ncpm247.com), claims to clean “an average four-bedroom house” with a single litre of pure water (charges start at £45).

“We use the water in the form of vaporised spray,” Colwell says, “and add a solution that leaves behind a water-repelling trace element on the glass, so the windows need cleaning less often — perhaps three times a year, rather than every month.”

What’s the secret ingredient, then? “It’s secret.”

Anyone know these guys? http://www.ncpm247.com/hydrophobic-window-cleaning.php
