For those that already own a pair of these gloves..Are they waterproof?

I have seen comments from users that they are ok for a while but not 100% waterproof as the manufacturers claim.

They are 100% waterproof when they are new but unless you are careful with them they can wear (especially between the thumb and forefinger and once the inner layer has been worn away or pierced they are no longer waterproof.
Still nice and warm though.

i have the winter gloves, had them 3 weeks now, and just washed them and dried them right out, going to immerse them in water to see if they are actually as they claim to be...waterproof. my hands get soaking wet, and i cant distinguish if its water or sweat.

i have a feeling its water tho, so they will be taken back if thats the case.

**tested, and fine, although the outer layer gets very wet whereas they used to repel water when new!

neoprene wetsuit type gloves i used once

BUT they stink!!

Seal skinz socks are best, save having to waterproof footwear.
