I have a gas heater that I put in when it gets to -4. Runs off propane from a company referbing a barge. Ebay. Not free standing but screwed in. Dont run it during the day but have it on low over night. Do you want pictures?

I had one,.. it was a cheap job from B&Q and it made a right mess of my shed,.. I'm sooo glad i never put it in the van! It would burn smoke free for a few hours & then sometime in the middle of the night start giving off black smoke. EVERYTHING in my shed got covered in a black greasy residue which was very hard to clean off.

I've ordered an aquarium heater for my van tank this year(I figure its underwater so much less of a fire risk!) and an oil filled rad in the shed.

I guess it will have to be either a wilko's fan heater or oil filled rad trouble is they need plugging in and that means cable through letter box to van where i will have to shut the van door on the plug cable, any suggestions?.

I use a tube heater. Extension lead runs under the garage door.

Also runs behind the van for several miles if I forget.  ::)

i tie spare microfibres around my pump and the little bottle beside it to try and keep it above freezing, also do the same with my filter housings, goin to invest in a new duvet and then chuck the old one over the tank too :)
