How far do you travel?

If you are lucky enough to do all your work in your local area,would you still be prepared to travel?
Where i live there is a lot of competition, and my work is scatterd about in a 15 mile radius,and not that great.
I am nearly ready to start with wfp and getting up early and travelling is no problem to me i prefer to get up early as i am not lazy and enjoy a good days work.
If a jobs worth doing and the price is right the distance is no problem.
So how far do you travel daily, weekly,monthly even yearly or one offs?
I know this may seem despearate to get work bit once my wfp is on the go,i will travel anywhere (just aslong as the price is right) ;D.

ive just moved to prestatyn north wales untill i pick up work up here ive got to travel 65 miles each way back to work :'( :'(

Most of mine are about 6 to 8 miles away from home, so the round trip is about 18 miles per day.

Just wondering whether they could post them to me; I clean them in the lockup and then post 'em back?

Most oF my round is 28 miles from where I live[ I moved back to my own house after a divorce] It has advantages tax wise though. I no longer claim foir diesel and other motoring expenses, I just claim the mileage. That way the first £26 a day I earn is exempt from tax. I think they allow about 60p per mile for the first 10,000 and 40p after that. Collecting is a pain though. It's not feasable to call back once I get home, so I do put in some long hours on collection days. It's worse in the winter waiting for customers to get home from work when I have to stop at 4 oclock. Dai

I was on a course last week done through the inland revenue and i have heck of a lot of stuff

Anyway i have looked at the 2005 - 2006 inland revenue milage rates.
And it says for cars and vans 40p for the first 10,000 miles and 25p per mile for any further mile.

Still good money.

My mistake, 45p for the first 10,000 miles I think. They will have make it more if they start charging for each mile travelled. It is after all a business expense. Dai

i just cheke my notes from my inland revenue couple weeks ago 40p for first 10k then 25p
