Which engine is it?

If its the HDI then its a bargain, if its the older 1.9 diesel then avoid. The have had a lot of probs with the 1.9s, this is why the are cheap.

wont have any problems with the 1.9D (non-turbo). but they are flat as a pancake. worse when tank's full.

I've had a 1.9 from new (2003). Done over 100,000 and its been to hell and back and its never let me down. The hd was more prone to problems than the non-turbo.

2 months ago I went with a mate (who is just starting up wfp) to an auction and he bought a very tidy 06 version (Pug/Fiat/Citroen last of the old shape type) for £3900 all in with 38K on the clock and we thought that was a reasonable deal.

The one your looking at macmac - if genuine - seems very good indeed.

If it's payload is 815kg then as a single op, if you're very careful about other weight issues you could put a 650L in it.
It's a game of three halves!
