National Alergy Week
« on: May 02, 2005, 09:38:13 am »
Hi Guys,

Whilst reading in the smallest room I came across an article about National Allergy Week.

It's from the 16th to the 20th of May.

Web site www.allergyuk.org

An interesting site!

Cheers,

Doug

Doug,
Already been onto local Guardian newpaper for SW London and Surrey.
Having reporter come to office for talk and photos, helps that it turns out to be son of one of my clients who runs refurb company  ;D

Also expect to see prominent Allerg-STOP presence at The Allergy Show at Olympia in June.

Onwards & Upwards...........

Note this site doesn't actively promote ripping up carpets and laying wood / laminate down, like some so called allergy help sites.

On the other hand it doesn't say carpet is the healthiest floor covering, and why wood / laminate is very unhealthy.

Some more work needed by these so called authorities!
Regards Ian.

In Sweden, they decided to remove carpeting from all publlc areas to combat allergies.
Over a 15 year period the allergies rose by 300%  ;D
Now that aint rocket science to prove that carpets are like a filter and will assist if cleaned out regularly  ;D

Well said both Chris and John,
it's time we got this message over, LOUD and CLEAR to not only the general public, but also to some of these so called Allergy web sites and other organisations, that constantly promote laminate / wood etc on the grounds of health!
Regards Ian.
