joe, i've been 5 stories up and only used 2 lengths of hose as i could park below the flat i was cleaning, i also often just drop the hoses down the stair well if it is safe to do so. hydramaster sell cool-cuffs and you can get the type of those that 'lock' together, they would never come apart. i always carry a length of nylon rope with me, i carry everything i need up to the flat and often when i've finished i lower the tubing down the outside of the building with the rope, sometimes it's easier to do it that way,

Just going back to getting your timing right...The jobs i have completed today, last year took 2 of us with 2 porty's 4 hrs today on my own with truckmount it took 3.5 hours. ;D
