YWCS -

I agree with allot you have said, you mentioned not shaving and not wearing uniforms at times, and you have done well none the less and it hasn't had an effect on your business.

However I would say that you will never know for sure how much quicker and further you maybe if you came across more professional more often.

Secondly a point you touched on there I do agree with allot is very often looking professional means investing in things we may not need and could do without. Stretching our business in too many dirrections and possible wasting allot of money that could be better spend (' Versace uniforms' :D).

I do think there is a difference though between someone who puts there address on there 'we called today' slips and uses a mobile number and no land line, to someone who only discloses a mobile.

I personally would think a company was not unprofessional but, could be iffy, if they only use a mobile - but saying that if it was on a nice sign written van with there own website and all wore uniforms and had seen them about town I don't think I would have a problem using them at all.

However joe bloggs in a car, no uniform, no name, and unshaven handing me a flyer with a mobile on it, and no address. I don't think I would use them.

Its one little thing that adds to the whole impression you get when you see someone or some company.
