Ok .... I'll relax.... & Duke, if I'm paranoid it's only since the CIA, the FBI. MI6  & The Inland Revenue started following me.

The main reason I have decided to relax is that I have noticed myself that even on a window with bad spotting, still large areas of the window are perfect. This would indicate that the spotting is as a result of some water running down becomming cntaminated in some way. If some of the window is excellent, then obviously it all can be. I guess I will have to give more thought to my technique. Maybe I was a bit dismissive of the skill aspect & the learning curve when I first started.
Onwards and Upwards...

paul , could you share with me the technique to clean the windows with the pole and NOT make a mess from the vents? reason i ask is that virtually every house i clean has vents above the panes(upvc)and i want a reach and wash system sometime soon! thanks

oh go on :proffessional Paul[re private joke] Ive only one problem with using a pole old fashioned lead, went to ave a look at a pub I do ,right mess, ist clean `3rd clean now lead gleaming, windows beginning to look brand new,I think the previous window cleaners shredded their cloths on it cus Ive found bits of scrim fastened to the lead and the lead pulling away from the window were they have scrimmed it.Meaning that when Irinsed off some water was get held up by the lead and spilling over with crud in it,problem solved now,by the look of things. TIP:USED TRAFFIC FILM REMOVER TO TAKE OF UPTEEN MONTHS OF TABACO STAINS,SPENT HR EXTRA DOING IT BUT WIZ THROUGH THEM SECOND CLEAN.
IM AT THAT AGE MY BACK GOES OUT MORE THAN I DO
