Well in excess of 50% of everything I earn goes between tax, vat, vehicle costs, fuel, insurance, accountants etc,..
Then take into account wet days, days off sick, holidays, bank holidays, days you're let down by custies,..
If you're running a legit business and paying your taxes, I reckon 3 to 4 times the minimum wage is the least you need to aim for just to make ends meet!
You are absolutely right nathanael,..........it still amazes me that some on this forum think its all about under cutting prices to get the job,......when it does`nt have to like that!
If more of us had your professional attitude, the window cleaning profession would be better place, and therefore the standards and earnings would be higher for every window cleaner in the UK.
