Express cleaning supplies Taken over! By Capital Cleaning in Kent.

Am I wrong but were not Express cleaning supplies sponsors of this site.

Recently alot of companies are going down the pan, I thought the reccession was comming to a close, I must be completely wrong.

Its terrible all these companies are folding or being taken over and it just creating a monopoly.

Further Capital growth as Express Cleaning Supplies enters the fold

Bucking the current economic downturn, where many companies are struggling, Kent-based Capital Cleaning Supplies is doing very well, having just completed its third successful acquisition within the last 15 months - that of Worcestershire-based Express Cleaning Supplies. In the spring of last year Capital took over Medway Hygiene, in April this year Force Five was absorbed into the Capital group and on August 3rd Express Cleaning Supplies was acquired. Express provided national coverage for both cleaning consumables and machinery, primarily by offering a comprehensive web presence.

“Yes, it’s tough, but thanks to a great team we’ve been able to go from strength to strength," said Capital MD Steve Wentzell, announcing the acquisition on Monday. "Without doubt the biggest winners will be our customers, who are now able to source an even wider range of products and services from a true ‘one stop shop.’

"We’ve always offered a good range of cleaning supplies, machines, repairs and service, and now we can provide a full range of safety equipment including boots and hi-viz jackets. Plus with Express becoming part of the family, customers can source their requirements via a very sophisticated website.

“Customers are all important, and as a family run business that’s been established for some 38 years we’ve always tried to deliver the service our customers deserve. With a greater range of products and now even easier ways to do business with us ,we’re taking that to the next level.”

Ashley Wentzell, Operations Director explained further: “We predicted after the last acquisition we hadn’t finished, what we didn’t realise was how quickly we’d be taking another company on. Medway Hygiene and Force Five were run by owners keen to retire. It’s highly likely if we hadn’t come in and reached an agreement that was fair to all parties these companies would have probably folded. In neither case was there anyone working in the businesses that wanted to or was in a position to take them on. With Express we’ve allowed the existing owner to concentrate on other projects. By acquiring these concerns we’ve helped both their customers and ours.”

Interestingly for some, Ashley added: “We’re now looking for good hard working, customer-focused people to join us. There are currently several vacancies outstanding.

"And don't forget to watch this space because Capital's growth is not over; we’re still considering taking on other companies as and when they become available.”
