I don't like those float pumps.
I tied the end of the float to the top of my storage tank. It works all the time i want it to now.

I need a transfer pump that works outside the barrel off the tap connector. Can anyone suggest one that does not cost the earth please?

I fitted a 350w draper as per cleantechs site, seems a bit slow compared to my old one, a lime green florabest 600w.

I'll get someone to have a look at this now it's out and see if it can be fixed. I have to call back for refills during the day and need something that works fast because two of us lose £1 a minute. When i ordered if forgot to ask for top end spec, so i've probably got what was mean't to go into a someone's garden pond.Because you lot all want something cheap, i end up with rubbish. Again!

Hippo pump from Argos, 100 litres a minute (in theory but not after 40 mtrs of pipe more like 75 ltrs.) had the same one for 6 years can't recommend them enough.
